Estimator
We are also seeking to recruit an estimator to join and compliment our existing successful sales force.
Working from our main office base south of East Grinstead in Sussex, this position involves the preparation and return of tender documents received primarily from main contractors and councils. There will be a degree of site visitation as required in the preparation of prices and quotations, with the possibility of some direct sales to potential customers as time and workload dictates.
Experience and knowledge of the industry with a history of preparing tender documents and dealing with clients and suppliers is required. The need to be able to organize and prioritise your own workload is of paramount importance, as timescales for the completion and return of individual documents varies enormously. The ability to procure preferential rates for materials and services will also be beneficial.
The geographical area covered by our work force is primarily the south east of the country, including London and the home counties. Tenders etc. are generally received for this area but the need to extend this coverage may arise.Â
Again, a generous flexible salary will be offered commensurate with the successful applicants’ experience. Administrative and secretarial back up is provided together with the usual benefits associated with this position, including a company car.
