An old leaking asbestos roof in an industrial park adjacent to Heathrow needed refurbishment while remaining in full operation for the occupying tenant. This along with budget restrictions removed the option for a strip and re-sheet to be considered.
The existing asbestos roof was over roofed using the Ashgrid spacer bar system and a Corus HPS200 roofing sheet was incorporated as the outer skin therefore giving the client a 25 Year Colorcoat Guarantee.
By opting for an over roof solution the client was faced with minimal disruption to his day to day operation.
