Retail Development – Southampton
In order to attract new tenants our client required a major upgrade to both the waterproofing and thermal efficiency to the roof covering of his retail development. This involved the removal of the old felt covering and water damaged insulation and the introduction of an upgraded level of insulation encapsulated with a single ply membrane. A tight programme along with a brief to cause minimal disruption to the existing tenants was given to us at the outset.
The contract was completed both within budget and on time.
The roof area was in excess of 2,500 square metres with a contract value of £250k.
